Council has prepared draft smart building and smart subdivision guidelines for use by all builders and developers on the Sunshine Coast. Whilst these are voluntary guidelines we would encourage you to consider their value within your development.
Council is now preparing formal planning scheme codes for telecommunications and a telecommunications standard to be adopted for inclusion in all new developments and buildings across the Sunshine Coast. This will require the endorsement of both State and Federal governments prior to implementation.
